Vielta Parkhomenko(Ukraine)

Velta is a feminist activist from Ukraine with personal experience of using psychoactive substances, a psychologist, trainer, human rights defender and chair of the board of the NGO Club Eney. She uses her story to support and amplify the voices of women who use drugs, and has been working in the field of social and psychological support, human rights protection and anti-discrimination for over twenty years. A master's degree holder in psychology from Borys Grinchenko University of Kyiv, she has extensive experience in NGO management, advocacy, facilitation, and training of social workers, psychologists, and government officials. Velta represents ENPUD on the INPUD Board, serves on the UNITAID Community Advisory Board, and is a member of the WHRIN Scientific Advisory Board. Her professional focus includes gender equality, stigma reduction, and the development of inclusive approaches to working with vulnerable groups.
